Ri here – yes, the one who never visits you anymore. Apologies – here’s my attempt to make it up, with a quickie Fiver that I plucked at absolute and total random from the embarrassingly large amount of music and random files I have uploaded to my server…just in case I ever need them.
No rhyme, no reason, no filtering, no planning whatsoever – wherever my mouse landed is what we’ve got. Some are likely to be embarrassing, I’d imagine. I’ll be back Sunday to face the music…(yuk, yuk, yuk!)

1. This is one of my jams. I love the beat & the lyrics. It’s on my running playlist because I feel like a total faker when I’m running.
2. Wow. Totally takes me to a specific place and time. I remember having a conversation with my bestie about how you never find superfans of this band. Then I went on a date with a guy who was completely out of my social circle & we went to his friend’s house. They were superfans. That’s when I knew we were NOT meant to be.
3. This one has an Irish CSNY feel to it. Grows on me as I listen to it. A bit too yearning for me at first blush, but I could see this becoming one of those songs that pops up in my head when I need to hear it.
4. Love. Love. Love. Love. Love. But it cuts off at the 7 second mark so then I had to go and listen to it on my own iTunes and I shall discuss it from there. I love that you can hear his fingers moving on the frets while he’s playing in the quiet parts. And the lyrics; “… pulled back the curtain took a look into your eyes / my tongue has now become a platform for your lies…” This IS one of those songs that pops up in my head when I need to hear it.
5. Bwah ha ha! Laughed out loud. Beautiful plumage on the Norwegian Blue. Were you inspired by my Zed blog post, Ri?
Yeah – we should probably mention that #4 WAS “Back Against the Wall” from Cage the Elephant, but I had technical difficulties, so I switched it to something TOTALLY not that. LOL!
Nice pull. It’s like if #3 and the previous #4 had a baby, this song is it.
Oh, and #3 isn’t Irish – he’s half Scottish, half Italian…like a shortbread cookie dipped in Nutella, and just as yummy.
I like it!
Seether rocks my world but I’m disturbed at that choice mama.
What? Hey, faking it is better than sitting on the sofa in a catatonic funk, right?
1. Like.
2. Couldn’t finish.
3. Fine. In small doses.
4. Too mellow for me this a.m.
5. Monty Python?
I need more coffee and some punk this morning. LOL
Tiffani, lucky for you I made you that amazeballs CD! Now get your tall cans in the air my friend
